Therapy that helps you understand yourself, not just manage symptoms.
“I believe therapy should feel collaborative, honest, and grounded in real-life change. My approach combines clinical insight with practical tools to help individuals navigate anxiety, trauma, OCD, burnout, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions with greater clarity and confidence.” - Founder of Mosaic Mind Psychotherapy & Consulting
My Approach:
I’m Timitra Martin, LCSW, MSW, founder of Mosaic Mind Psychotherapy & Consulting.
As a clinical social worker and therapist, my work is rooted in helping individuals better understand themselves while developing practical strategies for emotional regulation, healing, and long-term change.
I specialize in working with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, OCD and intrusive thoughts, burnout, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and relationship stress. Many of the individuals I work with appear put together on the outside while privately struggling with overthinking, emotional exhaustion, pressure, or difficulty slowing down mentally and emotionally.
My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and culturally responsive. I believe therapy should be a space where clients feel challenged, supported, understood, and empowered to create sustainable change in their lives.
Education & Clinical Experience
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work degree and experience working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, burnout, grief, emotional dysregulation, and life transitions across various levels of care.
My clinical background includes work within private practice, behavioral health settings, and community-based support services. I have experience supporting individuals managing complex emotional experiences, chronic stress, relationship challenges, substance use concerns, and trauma-related symptoms.
My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, cultural responsiveness, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches that prioritize both emotional insight and practical change.
What Therapy Can Look Like:
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you’re used to handling things on your own or minimizing what you’re carrying internally. Therapy does not require you to have everything figured out before reaching out.
Whether you are navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, intrusive thoughts, burnout, relationship stress, trauma, or major life transitions, therapy can provide space to better understand yourself while developing healthier ways to cope, communicate, and move through life with greater clarity and intention.
My goal is to create a therapeutic space that feels grounded, collaborative, and supportive while also encouraging meaningful growth and accountability throughout the process.
